Have you tried making your own sprouts? It’s really simple and delicious 😋
Here, @david.bekhor made homemade sprouts and used them to top a VG Gourmet Quinoa & Chickpea burger! He also added Zaatar, homemade hummus, and an olive oil drizzle. all on lavash with sliced tomato and fresh mint and parsley
.
How to sprout:
1️⃣Take a handful of lentils, beans or chickpeas and soak in water overnight.
2️⃣The next day, rinse very well and place in a colander hanging over a bowl.
3️⃣Rinse twice a day in the colander (the amount of days it will take depends on the chosen legume – lentils will only take 1-2 days while chickpeas will take 3-4) and voila! Sprouts!
You can eat them raw or boil for easier to digest beans👌
