Sweet Potato Burger with Raw Fermented Kimchi

A perfect burger combination!! The Kimchi from Tout Cru marries beautifully with VG Gourmet's smokey Sweet Potato and Black Bean Burger!

Ingredients

  • 1 x VG Gourmet Sweet Potato & Black Bean Burger
  • 1 x Burger Bun
  • 1 x Tbsp. Dijon Mustard
  • 1 x Large Scoop of Tout Cru fermented Kimchi
  • 1 x Leek Chips (see below for recipe)

Directions

  1. To make the Leek Chips: Take 1 leek, slice in half vertically and wash well. Then cut each half into long thin vertical strips. Place the leek strips on a parchment lined baking sheet and toss with salt, pepper and oil. Try to spread them out in a single layer. Bake a 400 F for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
  2. To assemble: Toast or grill the bread. Spread some Dijon on the bun, add a handful of leek chips, the burger and a scoop Tout Cru fermented Kimchi!
